resources for women in clothes free life

As my passion for clothes free life continues to expand, so rises my desire to support other women. My personal experiences and conversations I have had with women within and outside of the clothes free community continue to highlight the importance of having a places for women to talk and resources for support. On that note, below are a few pieces of programming coming in the near future.

How do women really feel about nudity?

Originally posted on Naturist Philosopher:
The great question that has never been answered, and which I have not yet been able to answer, despite my thirty years of research into the feminine soul, is ‘What does a woman want?’ That, according to Freud’s biographer Ernest Jones[1], was the conclusion that Freud himself had finally come to. Freud couldn’t admit this candidly in his own writing. But Jones feet obliged to report it, even though his biography of Freud is generally regarded as a bit overly complimentary. Is there very much in social conversation that can be more fraught with peril than for men to speculate about what women do or should “want”? Probably not. However, when it comes to issues of naturism and nudity, it’s a topic that cannot be avoided. In our society nudity is generally regarded as risible, awkward, or uncomfortable, at best ? and scandalous, shameful, embarrassing, or disgusting at worst. Consequently, people who hold the contrary view ? that nudity is wholesome, enjoyable, and life-enhancing ? have no choice but to…

recent conversations with women in my life

The more I talk with women in my world about clothes free life, the more I learn that many of them already spend much of their time clothes free, if anything at home. These conversations made me think that when we talk about causes and movements and so forth, we can’t just say that only people who openly shout about their naturist or clothes free lives count. I have seen that nature of commentary quite often, and it is wonderful if that is true to a person and works for them and others in their environment. At the same time, that is not necessarily how all people engage their lives generally (not just with regard to clothes freedom). What I am actually finding, particularly in my connections with the women in my life, is that it is less about shouting anything from the rooftops to the infinite public, and more about opening up in intimate one-on-one conversations.  Recently I opened up to a new friend about my clothes free life. As I shared with her in the conversation, she opened up and told me …

Nudist Options by Nekidgamer

From the editor: While browsing our archive I came across this post by our very first female contributor @nekidgamer who is not currently contributing but shared this gem about her clothes free experience we believe needed to be read. I hope you agree. I have always been a home nudist , and my earliest experience was skinny dipping with friends in a local pond. I also would go to friends houses as a teen for sleepovers and we all would skinny dip in the pool or run in the sprinklers. This last year was my first resort experience and I loved it. I would love to try out different nudist and clothing optional venues but I must admit there is some trepidation. I know this is not very acceptable by some nudist to say but I am uncomfortable with the idea of family resorts. I am concerned with the fact of creepy people checking out kids at resorts and you can’t say there are no pedophiles at nudist resorts its statistically impossible . I’ve met …

Nude yoga girl hits the web

The Instagram sensation who has garnered over 150,000 followers in only a couple a months had launched her own web site.  The self-described model, photographer and yogini announced on Instagram yesterday that her new website NYG was now open.  The woman who is 25 years old according to her Instagram bio has been covered by a wide range of news media from New York Magazine to Cosmo. The coverage centered around her artfully expressed black and white photos  of clothes free yoga poses which have so far been able to able avoid running afoul of Instagram’s nudity rules. In a brief conversation we had on Instagram in her early days pre 150k followers the nude yoga girl shared she did not have any major gymnastic or dance background despite her model looks. Also she said she only started practicing yoga consistently this year after several years on and off. While she is not the first yogini to post clothes free yoga photos on Instagram (see our coverage of the naked soul yoga challenge) using strategic lighting and positioning …

Seven day clothes free experiment

The great naked experiment: Why 7 days without clothes was so worth it There have been several studies on the benefits of sleeping naked, and yet according to a national survey, only 8 percent of Americans do it! This was hard for me to come to terms with because aside from the fact that the majority of our nation has no idea how fantastic sheets feel on bare skin, it can help you sleep better, lose weight and even improve your relationship. This got me thinking, if sleeping naked can enhance my life so significantly, what if I spent more time naked on a day-to-day basis? Could it possibly make a difference in just one week? I spoke with Dr. Fran Walfish, Beverly Hills relationship psychotherapist, author of The Self-Aware Parent and co-star on WE TV’s new show Sex Box, and she thought it was a great idea, as long as my boyfriend (who I live with) was willing to go along with it. She told me, “sleeping naked can be good for your health …
